Your details
Your JSON-LD
Paste it into your homepage head.
Copy the block and place it inside the head section of your homepage. WordPress themes and SEO plugins have a header scripts field, Squarespace calls it code injection, Wix has custom code settings. After publishing, test the page with validator.schema.org or the Google Rich Results Test, then run the free AI visibility check to confirm the rest of your setup.
About schema markup
What does this generator produce?
A ready to paste JSON-LD script block describing your gym in schema.org vocabulary: business type, name, address, contact, opening hours, and price range, plus an optional second block with FAQPage markup if you fill in the question builder. JSON-LD is the structured data format search engines and AI assistants read most reliably.
Where do I paste the code?
Into the head section of your homepage. Most website platforms have a spot for it: WordPress themes and SEO plugins offer a header scripts field, Squarespace calls it code injection, Wix has a custom code setting, and Shopify lets you edit the theme layout. Paste it once per page; do not duplicate the same block on the same page.
Which business type should I pick?
ExerciseGym fits most gyms and boxes. HealthClub fits clubs with broader facilities such as pools, spas, or courts. SportsActivityLocation is the general venue type for climbing walls and similar spaces. Yoga and Pilates studios should use HealthClub, since schema.org has no dedicated studio type; the name and description you enter carry the specifics.
How do I check that it worked?
After publishing, run your page through validator.schema.org or the Google Rich Results Test. Both are free and show exactly what a machine reads from your page. If the tool shows your gym with the right type, address, and hours, assistants can read it too.
